While in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where he has been protesting for days together with his supporters for the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama, Adriatik Lapaj spoke on the "Off the Record" show on A2 CNN, where he commented on political developments and the election of the People's Advocate.
Asked if they will address the Ombudsman about the violence exercised by the police over the past few days, Lapaj replied firmly: "Absolutely not. We do not recognize the institution of the Ombudsman since the moment Xhixh Merimanga became Ombudsman. We have no trust."
He stressed that the "Albania Becomes" Movement will address the justice institutions through criminal charges, specifically against a police officer, whom he said is implementing illegal political orders. "Unlike other police officers who have been correct, this officer is being too zealous to implement Rama's illegal orders," Lapaj said on A2 CNN.
Earlier, he also commented on the electoral processes, describing them as distorted by money, propaganda, and media capture, while accusing the government of holding Albania hostage through corruption.
