Kukës, inspection standards are monitored in two inert production entities and an EHV store

The General Inspectorate closely supervised the inspection process carried out by the Regional Directorate of the National Inspectorate of Territory Protection (for the environment), as well as by the State Health Inspectorate, Kukës Region, in two randomly selected entities: one in the field of production and processing of inert materials, and the other in the retail activity of food and non-food products.
During the supervision, the General Inspectorate's attention was focused on following legal procedures, the correct and professional conduct of inspectors, the complete and regular documentation of each step, as well as the verification of the inspection authorization and relevant accompanying documentation.
Also, the use of appropriate work tools and equipment according to standards was monitored, including official identification tools, necessary forms/acts, data recording and reporting equipment (including digital tools), as well as protective equipment when required by the nature of the control.
All findings and assessments are reflected in the General Inspectorate's report on the performance of the inspection body, which serves for analysis, improvement of standards, and increased accountability.
