Is the end of the war in Iran near? Trump reacts again: We are getting closer to

US President Donald Trump has given another message regarding the war in Iran.

Is the end of the war in Iran near? That's what Donald Trump seems to be implying, as he tweeted that we are getting "very close" to achieving US goals and that it is time to de-escalate.

Trump has shared some of his objectives regarding this war, it seems clear that it is about weakening missile capabilities, destroying the defense industrial base, and eliminating Iran's Navy and Air Force.

In his post on Truth Social, the American president writes:

"We are coming very close to achieving our goals as we consider limiting our major military operations in the Middle East to the terrorist regime of Iran:

(1) Completely disable missile capabilities and everything else related to them

(2) Destroy Iran's defense industrial base.

(3) Eliminate its Naval and Air Forces, including anti-aircraft weapons.

(4) Never allow Iran to come even remotely close to developing a nuclear weapon, and always be in a position where the United States can respond quickly and forcefully to such a situation, if it arises.

(5) Protect, at the highest level, our allies in the Middle East, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, and others.

The Strait of Hormuz should be secured and controlled, as needed, by other nations that use it – the United States does not use it! If asked, we will assist these countries in their efforts in Hormuz, but this should not be necessary once the Iranian threat is eliminated. It is important to note that this would be a light military operation for them.

Thank you for your attention to this matter! PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP.”
