Hungarian elections, Orban's camp warns of violent scenarios. Magyar:

Hungarian opposition leader Péter Magyar has described voting day as "a celebration of a referendum for regime change."

In a Facebook post, he said his supporters are awaiting the close of voting "with calm, confidence and certainty," adding that the turnout during the day confirms their expectations.

“Today is the holiday of the referendum for regime change, which will enter the Hungarian history books,” he wrote.

Media close to Prime Minister Viktor Orban are publishing alarming scenarios, warning that in the event of his confirmation in power, there could even be a coup attempt to overturn the result.

But Magyar dismissed them as "lies and propaganda" from the ruling party.

According to him, the accusations of violent protests or occupations of institutions are unfounded nonsense and, as he put it, "come from the mindset of Russian advisors."
