Oil falls below $80 per barrel

The price of oil on international markets has fallen below the $80 per barrel threshold for the first time since the start of the conflict that shook global energy supplies.

According to international stock exchange data, Brent crude traded around $79.7 per barrel, following the decline in tensions in the Middle East and expectations for normalization of traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, falling by at least 4.12%.

Analysts estimate that markets are reflecting a decrease in the risk of supply disruptions, which has prompted investors to sell positions created during the period of uncertainty.

However, experts warn that the market remains sensitive to geopolitical developments and that price fluctuations may continue in the coming weeks.
