The brother of Democratic MP Bledjon Nallbati, Altin Nallbati, otherwise known as "Duçja", as well as two other citizens Marsel Buçi and Trajan Çeliku, have left the premises of the Drenova prison, after the court decided to change the security measure from "prison arrest" to "house arrest".
After 40 days of being held in the security measure of "prison arrest", the court decided to ease the measure due to the collection of evidence and the conduct of additional investigative actions by the Prosecution.
The three arrested are suspected of having taken hostage and raped 32-year-old Ilir Topçiu . The incident is suspected to have occurred on October 27, where the three aforementioned citizens are suspected of having forcibly taken him from his apartment in the village of Vishocicë, Topçiu and taken him to the premises of a private business, where they held him for several hours, raping and threatening him.
The above citizens also have previous criminal records.
Trajan Çeliku and Marsel Buci were involved in the incident recorded on October 1 in the town of Bilisht, where, together with a friend, they attacked 39-year-old Guri Mazelliu with a baseball bat. In that incident, Marsel Buci was injured with a knife.
Meanwhile, Alti Nallbati, brother of DP MP Bledion Nallbati, was involved in the incident that occurred on May 3, a few days before the May 11 parliamentary elections, where he clashed with a truck driver and raped him with punches.
