"Secret Investigations!"/ Officials indicted for Vlora Airport: Predetermined Race!

Journalist Klodiana Lala, invited to the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, spoke about SPAK's investigations regarding the Vlora Airport tender, where there are defendants, but Lala said that the investigations have been kept secret and are ongoing. 

"Regarding the Vlora airport, charges have been communicated to several officials of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy for violating equality in tenders. This is a criminal offense that has been prescribed and has deadlines, so in order to avoid it being prescribed, the prosecutors have rushed to communicate this charge."

It turns out that the companies that won are predetermined.

We must bear in mind that the investigation was kept in complete secrecy and the names of the persons to whom the charges were communicated have not been leaked. From the latest information, it results that the companies did not meet the criteria, but were officials who adjusted the criteria for the companies in order to win the concession, in relation to the construction of the airport.

The prosecution is also investigating other crimes, corruption, money laundering, and abuse of office.

There are 3 people who have been charged. The officials who have been registered have not been summoned because they are suspected of involvement in more serious criminal offenses. It turns out that the companies that won the tender for the construction of the airport were predetermined. More or less like the case of the Llogara Tunnel. 

Mabco, 2A group entered the competition but they had to have a foreign company. This company YDA group came, TIA International Vlora was created, and immediately the Turkish company withdrew and sold the shares to Pacolli. Even the withdrawal is suspected to have been among the tricks used to win this competition.

"The scandal lies in the fact that at the airport, which is a strategic operation, it results, at least from the investigations, that it is a predetermined competition," Lala declared.
