33-year-old Albanian man injured in Italy while fleeing from police

A 33-year-old Albanian man has been injured by Italian police after he attempted to flee.  Italian media  reports that three people, including the Albanian man, attempted to rob an apartment by force.

Stolen goods and burglary tools were found inside the vehicle they abandoned. After being chased by the police, the three ran away.

The pursuit ended with a gunshot, resulting in the 33-year-old Albanian being wounded in the shoulder.

The injured man is in the hospital in Perugia, where he was transported by helicopter after the first intervention of the White Cross ambulance of Monte San Savino.
