US-Israeli strikes hit Iranian nuclear plant

US and Israeli airstrikes targeted Iran's nuclear enrichment facility in Natanz this morning, the Iranian state news agency Tasnim reported.
According to the report, no leakage of radioactive material was reported following on-site investigations following the attack. There is also no risk to residents living near the facility.
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump has repeatedly insisted that one of the US's main objectives in the war against Iran is to eliminate the country's ability to produce nuclear weapons.
The Natanz facility has previously been hit by airstrikes during the conflict, and satellite images show damage to the complex.
Natanz is one of the largest uranium enrichment centers in the country and was one of the sites targeted by the US in Operation Midnight Hammer in June last year.
