Iran rejected 45-day ceasefire, Trump: Tomorrow is the deadline, their peace

US President Donald Trump has set a deadline on Tuesday (April 7) to end the war with Iran.
Trump's reaction came after Iran rejected Pakistan's proposal for a 45-day ceasefire, arguing that a permanent peace was needed.
"Tomorrow is the deadline. They cannot have nuclear weapons. Their peace proposal is not good enough," Trump said, among other things, as he arrived at the White House.

President Trump repeated threats to Iran that the US will continue to attack its infrastructure if it does not surrender.

"And if they don't, they won't have bridges. They won't have power plants. They won't have anything."

He added that he will not go further, because there are other things that are worse than those two.

"If I had a choice, what would I want to do? Take the oil, because it's there for the taking. There's nothing they can do about it."

"Unfortunately, the American people would like to see us go home. If it were up to me, I would take the oil, I would keep the oil […] I would make a lot of money and also take care of the people of Iran," Trump said. Tehran has proposed a 10-point plan to end the fighting, a protocol that local officials say would allow safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz and the lifting of sanctions.
Iran's 10-point plan also includes, in addition to a permanent end to the fighting, the reconstruction of the country.
