41 miners who were trapped underground in the Belorechenska coal mine, in the Russian-occupied Luhansk region, have been evacuated and are safe.
The news was confirmed by the head of the region, Leonid Pasechnik, who announced that the power outage caused by a reported Ukrainian attack had been resolved.
According to him, the electricity supply to the mine has been restored, making it possible to bring the workers to the surface without consequences for their lives.
