Kosovo, a minor is attacked and threatened with death in North Mitrovica

A serious incident occurred on Sunday evening in North Mitrovica, where a minor girl was physically attacked and threatened with her life by a suspect, Gazeta Sinjali learns.

The incident occurred on December 14, 2025, at around 6:30 PM, on Milan Shufllai Street. According to initial information, the victim, NM, 17 years old, was stopped by the suspect, Dragutin Jaredic, while she was going to her friend's house.

Reliable sources of Sinjali report that the suspect initially asked the victim to call his girlfriend, in order to tell her that "I have nothing". After her refusal, the situation escalated, where the suspect allegedly physically attacked her and seriously threatened her, saying: "I will kill you if you don't call my girlfriend".

As a result of the attack, the minor received medical treatment at the Mitrovica-South Regional Hospital, with protocol number 31297.

The case has been reported to the acting investigator, who, in consultation with the acting state prosecutor, has initiated a criminal case for the offense of "Minor bodily harm." Investigations are ongoing.
