MP Koçeku's departure, Rama informs the SP Group about the departure

During the meeting of the Socialist Party Group, Edi Rama harshly issued a series of accusations against the protest that has been taking place for 21 days in the capital and several cities across the country, as well as having spread widely in many countries where there are Albanians.

With harsh words, Rama has stated that he and the SP will not retreat from his path, and even said that he has lost the desire to be an elected official liked by the citizens.

Speaking about departures, such as in the case of MP Marjana Koçeku, the Prime Minister warned of other departures from the ranks of the Socialists.

He warned the deputies not to be surprised that along the way there will be many others who will appear, according to him, "to the side, behind or in front."

"We will be criticized, we will be attacked, but we have an obligation not to choose the easy way, not to choose to be popular when we should be responsible. It's been a while since I felt chosen to be liked. That desire has disappeared from me.

We are not to be liked, but to be useful. Albania today is in our hands, it is not a hashtag, it is not a flamingo that is dragged around to look pretty, it is in a war with itself and the EU is our Ithaca. Let the sirens sing, that is their job, we have a duty to take Albania to that shore at all costs.

Don't be surprised that on this path, many others will appear to us from the side, behind, and in front of us. It's not the work of agencies, we have as much evidence as you want, thanks to the algorithm, digital mercenaries come even from places you don't think you were their target.

"We have no business with any of them, in the sense of being intimidated or compensated. This is the most difficult path, it is my path, ours and the SP's," said Rama.
