Prime Minister Edi Rama has blamed the algorithm for the fact that passive protests have been taking place for 20 days.

He said that the algorithm does not want calm and reason.

"There is no perfect government. Let's forget that ours has no problems. The government is unpoetic, while the opposition seems revolutionary. When, in a time of hysterical discourse, we are faced with a profitable industry. Whoever thinks that with likes and followers you do politics, is mistaken. With the 'likes' you collect, you do the service of those oligarchs. Algorithm does not reward calmness, it buries it. It does not reward nuances, since they are the opponents, Algorithm does not love reason. In all posts, platforms, which are boring because they are reasonable, have a slower distribution than those that are attractive, which are scandalous. I have not believed that democracy is the property of experts, but of citizens. Democracy has never said that every opinion has weight on every issue. It has said that every citizen has the right to speak. Freedom of speech in functional democracies has never overturned the unwritten law of gravity knowledge. Today, for the first time in democracy, the Algorithm has given him something that was earned with many years of work, appearance. Putting yourself in the attention of others, not with grace, but with disdain. You are a slave to the algorithm that, by increasing attention, encourages you to become more threatening. It does not matter if what you say is true, or if it is right or wrong. It is enough that it is angry. Therefore, we live in a time when shouting survives over argument," said Rama.
