Journalist Almer Toska has reacted publicly to the criminal defamation complaint filed against him by Belind Këllici. In a direct and harsh post, Toska describes the lawsuit as an act of political pressure on critical journalism, accusing Këllici of serving the interests of the government and not the citizens.
He emphasizes that on January 20, he will appear in the Tirana Court not to justify himself, but to defend the right to tell the truth and to denounce what he calls failed and hopeless politics.

This is your balance sheet: only defeats, only losses, only political failures. And such a failed politician, who does not convince citizens, does not win elections, does not produce hope, does not deal with power, but deals with journalists.
