Accident with two children dead and one injured, police provide details: The minor is transported to Trauma, the 57-year-old is arrested

Durrës Police have provided details of the tragic accident in Durrës, where two 10-year-olds lost their lives, while another was seriously injured.

"Around 14:20, in neighborhood no. 15, in Durrës, a vehicle driven by citizen NR, about 57 years old, hit three minor children, about 10 years old.

As a result of the accident, two of the minors lost their lives, while the other minor is in serious condition and is being transported for more specialized assistance in Tirana," the police announced.

The driver of the vehicle has been taken to the police station for further action. The investigation team is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
