"Negotiations only with the EU"/ Rama: I am happy for the 83 mandates, they guarantee reforms without the opposition

Prime Minister Edi Rama accused the opposition of attempting to hinder the country's integration process into the European Union. During a meeting with the socialists of Gjirokastra, the head of government stated that the only dialogue the majority will develop is with Brussels, reiterating the position that the negotiating framework will be completed by 2027.
From Gjirokastra, Edi Rama explained why he had been blessed with 83 parliamentary mandates. While showing the socialists Albania's work in the integration process, he was careful to underline that thanks to the votes in parliament, the approval of reforms will now be done without having to wait for the opposition's consensus and the only negotiations they will conduct are those with Brussels.
" If we didn't have those votes in parliament, we wouldn't be having negotiations with the EU today, but we would be under pressure to negotiate with the scoundrels we have in the opposition, because they would have taken us hostage, they would have taken us hostage in the name of integration ," Rama said.
He did not spare words for the opposition, describing them as an obstacle to the country's integration journey.
" They are obsessed with doing everything and saying everything and pouring every scum into the communication channels, into the information channels, to hinder us on this path. We must not allow anyone to dismiss and cover with mud all that extraordinary work that we have done together and that has brought Albania to this point that it is today, which is the best point that Albania has ever been ," Rama said.
In front of the Socialists of Gjirokastra, the Prime Minister reiterated his position that the negotiation process with the EU will be completed by 2027, despite the fact that no progress has been made in the first five months of this year.
