Two brothers in handcuffs, synthetic drug laboratory discovered in Durrës

Police in Durrës have discovered a synthetic drug processing base, which had the objective of distributing them near high schools.

During the action, two brothers, LL, 20 years old, and RL, 25 years old, born in Kavaja and residing in Tirana, were arrested.

Meanwhile, another of their associates, Xh. L., 20 years old, has been declared wanted and work continues to capture him.

Investigations have revealed that these individuals had created the conditions for the production of synthetic drugs in gelatin form, known as "candy", which were mainly aimed at teenagers.

The police have seized 50 packages of narcotics processed in the form of candy, weighing 650 grams, found near the school block.

Other materials were found and seized in their apartment in Tirana, including gelatin in the form of candy, the narcotic cannabis, 550 grams of synthetic material ready for the production of candy, electronic scales, plastic molds for shaping candy, as well as various ingredients for their processing.
