Easter brings back emigrants/ High flow of movements in Kapshtica, over 7 thousand citizens enter Albanian territory in the last 24 hours

The high flow of movements continues at the Kapshtica Border Crossing. However, the situation appears calm and manageable. This is thanks to the addition of counters at the entrance, where 5 such counters are currently being worked on, significantly accelerating the works.

According to data for the last 24 hours, 7,475 citizens have entered Albanian territory in Kapshtica, while 2,741 have left.

Meanwhile, 3,292 entries and 2,984 exits of citizens were registered at the Qafë Thana border crossing.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation, while the flow is expected to remain high in the coming days.
