Fearing for Putin's life and instability, the Kremlin increases security measures, what the intelligence service report says

The Kremlin has significantly increased personal security measures for Russian President Vladimir Putin, amid a wave of assassinations of senior military officials and concerns about potential internal destabilization.
According to a report by a European intelligence service, obtained by CNN, Russian authorities have also installed advanced surveillance systems in the homes of the president's close associates.
The document states that Putin's close staff, including chefs, bodyguards and photographers, are no longer allowed to use public transport. Meanwhile, visitors to the Kremlin are subject to double security checks.
Also, personnel working for the head of state are only allowed to use phones without internet access, as part of efforts to limit the risk of eavesdropping or information leaks.
Some of these tight security measures have been put in place in recent months, following the assassination of a senior general in December, an event that is said to have fueled tensions within Russia's security structures.
