Middle East war, US approves $8.6 billion worth of military equipment sales to allies

The US State Department has approved a major military sales package worth over $8.6 billion to some of its key allies in the Middle East, including Israel, Qatar, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.
According to the official announcement, Israel is expected to purchase APKWS systems worth about $992.4 million. Meanwhile, Qatar will be equipped with Patriot missiles and related equipment, in a deal worth $4.01 billion.
For Kuwait, the package includes the IBCS system worth $2.5 billion, while the United Arab Emirates will also purchase APKWS systems worth about $147.6 million.
