Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has reacted to the possibility of withdrawing about 5,000 US troops from Germany, a decision related to international tensions and disputes, including the situation with Iran.
He states that the greatest danger to the transatlantic alliance does not come from outside, but from the division within it, describing this as a worrying trend that must be changed as soon as possible.
Poland, which borders Russia and Belarus, relies heavily on NATO and the US for its security.
For this reason, the country has significantly increased defense spending and is among the countries that invest the most in the military within the European Union in relation to its economy.
Tusk emphasizes that allied countries must strengthen cooperation to avoid weakening common security in Europe.
