The plan for this June 7 election budget was unanimously approved at Friday's meeting of the Central Election Commission (CEC), which is missing one member.

The budget is planned according to the following programs and economic categories: salaries and allowances amounting to 221 thousand euros, then goods and services 10 million and 621 thousand, municipal expenses 32 thousand and non-financial capital assets at 13 thousand," said Violeta Salihu, who is a member of the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) at the CEC.

The CEC has also approved the activity plan. Based on it, the election campaign of political parties will last 10 days, starting from May 28th until June 7th at 7:00 am, when the polling stations will open.

Meanwhile, the decision to set campaign spending limits will be made on May 5th.

Political entities that want to form coalitions will have 7 days to do so, from May 1 to 7.

And for submitting the list of candidates for MPs, parties will have a deadline from May 2 to May 12.

On May 16, the draw for the ranking of political entities on the ballot will take place.

Voting by mail will last from May 25 to June 6, and one day before the elections in Kosovo, voting will be organized through diplomatic missions.

At Friday's CEC meeting, the Council for the Supervision of Public Information was also established, headed by Muharrem Nitaj.

"I would propose that since this Council deals with information products related to the election campaign, elections and informing public opinion and is carried out in several languages, this Council should include representatives of the languages spoken in Kosovo: Turkish, Serbo-Croatian, Bosnian and Roma," emphasized Nitaj, who is a member of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) in the CEC.

On May 21, the Central Election Commission will certify the list of voters inside and outside the country.
