Serbia and its President, Aleksandar Vučić, have stated that Serbia will fight against efforts to integrate Pristina into NATO and expressed hope that this will not happen, recalling that the military alliance includes four members that have not recognized Kosovo's independence.
In Pancevo, when journalists asked him about the fact that three US congressmen presented an initiative to the House of Representatives for Kosovo's integration into NATO, President Vučić said that Pristina is also doing this through Croatia and Albania, which are members of the Alliance, through a military alliance.
"Don't forget that there are four countries that are members of NATO, like five EU members, that have not recognized Kosovo. I don't see how this can go easily, but let's wait and see," Vučić told reporters in Pancevo.
