During a speech held at the 'Pulpit' in Astir, DP leader Sali Berisha called on citizens to participate in the May 8 protest in Tirana, describing it as a decisive moment for the future of the country.
Berisha reiterated, as many times in recent months, that the opposition is in the "last mile" of the political confrontation, while emphasizing that, according to him, Prime Minister Edi Rama is in a hopeless situation.
He stressed that the protest will be held for the dignity, rights and future of Albanian citizens. "On May 8, in the streets and squares of Tirana, we will tell Albanians that we are the masters of Albania," said Berisha, describing citizen participation as essential.

Again, the road is difficult, but absolutely, Edi Rama is hopeless. He is hopeless! And we will make it this kilometer.
We will do it, for our sacrifice! We will do it, for our children and their future! We will do it, for the dignity of Albanians, for the future of Albania!
On May 8, in the streets and squares of Tirana, we will tell Albanians that we are the masters of Albania, and not the gang in power! On May 8, we will tell the world, Europe and the world, that values, rights, have an invincible advocate, it is us.
That we are determined, until their return, to continue our battle. And that Edi Rama is a fierce enemy of Albanians. He is a fierce enemy of the rights, of the freedoms, of the well-being, of the security of this country.
It is one of the most dangerous evils, with which we will part safely and as soon as possible.
Once again, everyone, I thank you and let us all stand up majestically on May 8th, in our peaceful protest, in our right for our dignity, for the dignity of our nation, for the dignity of our country.
