In a statement to the Agence France-Presse (AFP) agency, the French striker's representatives rejected the latest interpretations, calling them exaggerated and unfounded.

"In our opinion, some of the criticism is based on an exaggerated interpretation of elements related to a recovery period, which has been strictly followed by the club. This does not correspond at all to the reality of the commitment and work that Kylian does every day for the good of the team," the reaction states.

The statement comes at a delicate moment for the French star, with speculation surrounding his relationship with the team and his commitment to the team receiving a lot of media attention. The player's staff insists that Mbappé remains fully focused and committed to the objectives of the Madrid club.
