Sali Berisha gathered the Presidency today at the DP headquarters, where he gave them directives for further progress with new memberships.
Regarding the election for the leader of the DP, Berisha insisted that the competition exists and is democratic, while a few days ago Ervin Salianji, Evi Kokalari, Alesia Balliu, Mereme Sela and Vladimir Mulaj were excluded from the race.
"In this period that we have left, it is necessary for the peaceful uprising of the 8th to be the strongest. We are in the electoral month, the elections have generally gone well, there have been problems in some places that are being resolved democratically. But we must establish a group to prepare the National Assembly of the DP. The working groups must now finalize their work. We must continue with efforts for new memberships, opening the DP, modernizing the DP. These will be our most fundamental directions," he said.
