After more than four years of dating, the singer of the superhit "Shallow" is engaged to Michael Polansky, a powerful name in the world of technology and innovation.

Polansky, 42, is a CEO and technology entrepreneur with a degree in computer science and applied mathematics from Harvard.

He runs the Parker Foundation, a charitable organization focused on medical research, science, and technology, created in collaboration with Sean Parker, co-founder of Facebook.
