Albanian pop star Dua Lipa will not perform at the heavyweight bout between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury later this year.
The chairman of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority, Turki Al-Sheikh, has said that the match could be jeopardized if Dua Lipa refuses to perform as part of the event's promotion.
It is not clear whether the comment was made seriously or in jest, but BBC Sport reports that the 30-year-old singer was asked to perform, but she has declined the offer and is not expected to be involved in the event.
A venue for the Fury vs. Joshua fight has yet to be determined, although Wembley Stadium in October is understood to be the preferred option for organizers.
As for Joshua, he will first face Albanian boxer Kristian Prenga in July, who has warned of a big surprise for the Briton ahead of his planned fight with Fury.
