Ernest Muci ready to break a unique record in the Turkish championship

Ernest Muçi is experiencing the best moment of his career in Turkey. The Albanian striker of Trabzonspor has scored 6 goals in the last 4 matches in the Süper Lig, confirming a fantastic form and continuing his positive series.
If Muçi manages to find the net again in the next match against Gençlerbirliği, he will equal a record that has been missing for 11 years. The Albanian striker would become the first player to score in five consecutive league games since the 2013–2014 season, when Paulo Henrique achieved this feat.
In the Trendyol Süper Lig, the 24-year-old has scored in four consecutive matches, never leaving the opposition goal untouched. He has scored twice against Başakşehir, once against Konyaspor, twice against Göztepe and once against his former team, Beşiktaş.
Muçi transferred to Beşiktaş in January of the 2023–2024 season, where he scored 3 goals in 13 Süper Lig matches. In the following season, he played 27 times in the championship with the black and white shirt, contributing 4 goals and 3 assists. At the beginning of this season, before the transfer to Trabzonspor, the Albanian striker played only 58 minutes with Beşiktaş, without managing to leave his mark.
The move to the Karadeniz team proved decisive for his career. With the burgundy and blue jersey, Muçi seems to have "found himself". So far, he has played 12 matches in the championship, spent 625 minutes on the field and scored 6 goals, recording his best season in terms of offensive efficiency.
