Epstein dossier, US Justice Department releases new documents related to investigations against him

The US Department of Justice has released a package of documents related to the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, the now-deceased financier and sex offender.
It is not yet clear whether this is a full or partial release of the Justice Department's files related to the case. According to the BBC, the released documents relate to two criminal investigations conducted against Epstein by federal authorities.
The investigations have collected a large volume of material, including transcripts of interviews with victims and witnesses, as well as objects seized during searches of his properties in various locations.
It is not yet known whether this release is the first of several batches of documents that may follow. However, authorities have confirmed that some materials will not be made public, including those related to ongoing criminal investigations, documents identifying victims, and materials containing images of abuse, death or injury.
These files are separate from other releases of documents and photographs made in recent weeks by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee.
