Domestic crime in Italy, man kills wife with knife, then attempts to end life

A macabre crime has been reported in Italy. A 49-year-old Vincenzo Dongellini has been arrested for the murder of his wife, Valentina Sarto.

The serious incident occurred in the apartment, the couple had been married for less than a year, according to Italian media.

The man stabbed his wife and then attempted to commit suicide. He was taken to hospital where he is receiving medical treatment. There had been occasional conflicts between them.

Meanwhile, authorities continue their investigations to shed more light on the serious incident.
