Champions, Sporting makes a crazy upset in extra time with 5 goals against Bodo/Glimt and secures the quarterfinals

Bodo/Glimt's Champions League fairytale has come to an end in the round of 16. What some of the biggest names in Europe, including Inter Milan, failed to do, was done today by Sporting Lisbon.

The Norwegians' 3-0 victory in the first leg had been a sure step towards the quarter-finals. But in Portugal, the situation changed completely, with the home team dominating and with a flurry of shots on goal in the opening minutes, seeking a historic upset.

They managed to score 3 goals in regular time, while scoring twice more in extra time to seal the 5-0 victory, in a match that ended with 37 attempts on goal, to become the first quarterfinalists of this edition.
