A shocking moment marked the match between Chelsea and Nottingham Forest, won 3-1 by the visitors, where a violent head-on collision between Morgan Gibbs-White and goalkeeper Robert Sánchez left both players bloodied and with stitches in their faces.
The incident occurred in the second half, when Gibbs-White, who had been brought on as a substitute, collided violently with the Chelsea 'keeper.' The England midfielder was forced off the pitch in the 66th minute, and later posted a photo on social media showing him with several stitches from his forehead to near his nose. Despite the serious wound, he appeared optimistic, thanking the fans for their support and celebrating his team's victory.
