A network of companies linked to Bankers, the concessionaire that exploits the Patos-Marinzë oil field, have made tens of millions of euros in recent years. It is money that has come out of the underground, the wealth of all Albanians, but given abusively to private individuals, exploited in the same abusive way for years, changing hands several times.
Currently, justice has begun to act, initially the Fier Prosecutor's Office which found numerous abuses, while currently the black file of Bankers has been transferred to the Special Prosecutor's Office. Investigations so far have found numerous violations, where in addition to the concessionaire's administrators, investigations have also been extended to state institutions, which "turned a blind eye" to this theft.
Meanwhile, the moment the state remembered to act and protect its own assets, the "slugs" behind the concessionaire, or more precisely the firms that are suspected of being set up by the concession owners themselves, have come to light. There are a multitude of companies whose only income comes from Bankers, who have been paid regularly and in amounts that reach tens of millions of euros.
In fact, this money is underground, but by being funneled through these companies, it manages to be laundered and the parent company itself makes minimal profits, avoiding taxes and everything else.
One of these "scam" companies is "Petro Solution", which has thrown dozens of employees out of work, not giving them their November salary, or even paying them their oilman status. The company's workers have denounced the company's attempts to hide income to the VoxNews editorial office.
"These people have made millions of euros, and now that the tap has been cut off by Bankers, they are not paying us our salaries. Their salaries are almost zero, but we are being paid a pittance and are not even being paid for the status and difficulty of working in the oil industry," said a worker, who says that, although we are in the middle of December 2025, the workers have not received their November salaries.
But who is the company "Petro Solution"?! VoxNews browsed documents where it turns out that the company's activities include "geological analysis, reservoir evaluation, production enrichment technology, cutting and drilling in the oil sector". It also deals with transportation, rental services of transport and engineering machinery and equipment, trading, technical consultancy, technical services and training.
This company has been in Albania for several years, founded by Ramil Kimurov, a 30-year-old from Kazakhstan, resident of Almaty. According to documents available to VoxNews, on February 15, 2023, this person sold the company "Petro Solution" to a firm from China.
The suspicions are that the buyer, a Chinese firm called "EXA PETROLEUM PTE. LTD", was in fact a "daughter" company of the concessionaire itself, the "Bankers" firm. The sale of shares by Ramil from Kazakhstan to the Chinese was made for a value of 100 thousand euros. The Chinese firm had as its administrator Chen Xinming, born in 1963 and residing in Shanghai.
A few months after the company changed hands, money has been pouring into Petro Solution. The company has spent tens of millions of euros in 2023 and 2024, making purchases in China or renting machinery. It immediately increased its capital, while there are suspicions that the bonuses of the owners and managers have also increased.
In letters submitted to the Central Bank, the firm writes that in 2024, it had a profit of around 280 thousand euros. Meanwhile, in other documents it says that it has made up to 7 or 8 million euros. It has all its income from "Bankers".
But, although it earns hundreds of thousands of euros and has millions more in turnover, the company has started not paying its workers. The closure of the tap and the controls of state institutions on the concessionaire have started to expose all the dirty deeds of Bankers. Of course, SPAK should extend the investigations to these "leeches", as there are many around Bankers, who were paid from everyone's wealth, but only a handful of people became rich./ VOXNEWS
