Another sex scandal / Advisor to the President of Montenegro with the police

Another sex scandal has engulfed Montenegro. In a video recorded by the protagonists themselves, the advisor to the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, appears in a hotel room in intimate moments with a senior police officer. The report was recorded by a camera installed by the two Montenegrin state officials themselves.

The video initially started circulating among a close circle of friends of the two officials and it seems to have gotten out of control. The scandal comes after the erotic affair that engulfed Montenegro, after the publication of a video and photos in a private report of Dejan Vukšić, former director of the National Security Agency and former security advisor to the president of Montenegro, and Mirjana Pajković, former state secretary at the Ministry of Human Rights and Minorities.

Both have resigned from their official positions, saying that personal reasons forced them to leave after the publication of compromising materials.

Vukšić has denied any connection to the creation, possession or distribution of the videos and photos, saying that they were made public without his knowledge or approval and that he only saw them for the first time when they were shared on social media.

He also claims that Pajković's seizure of his phone in 2024 was subsequently used to create compromising materials and for other purposes, including pressure and threats to influence official appointment processes.

Pajkovic stressed that she resigned as an act of personal responsibility, in order not to harm the institution she represented, adding that there was no legal basis for her dismissal.

She confessed that for more than a year and three months she has lived in fear, claiming that she was threatened by a senior state official.

"It is unacceptable for a citizen to live in fear of the power of officials. They should protect us, not threaten us," said Pajkovic, adding that he has filed several criminal charges and that the case was made public thanks to the media.

Accusations against President Milatović

Pajković stated that President Jakov Milatović was aware of the situation, but did not react in time.

“I expected support from him. The threats came from the heart of the President's office. The words were: 'There will be no life for you in Montenegro.' His silence compromises me,” she said.

According to her, the President had a moral and institutional obligation to support every woman who denounces violence and to encourage law enforcement authorities to act.

At the end of the interview, Pajković admitted that he had been silent for a long time about the violence he experienced, calling this a serious mistake.

"Those who threaten today may make it a reality tomorrow. I don't feel safe and I don't know what could happen," she concluded.

The affair continues to shock public opinion in Montenegro, while the reaction of justice institutions is awaited for the full clarification of the allegations.
