A new funding opportunity is expected to be made available to young Albanians soon through the National Youth Agency. These are grants of up to 10 thousand euros, which will support initiatives and projects with an impact on the community.
One of the most important innovations brought by the Youth Law is the recognition and support of informal youth groups. Through this mechanism, young people will have the opportunity to organize themselves into groups, register with the notary as an informal youth group, and apply for funding for their ideas.
The Director of the National Youth Agency, Sara Bodo, stated that this scheme aims to empower young people and give them more opportunities to turn ideas into concrete projects in service of the community.
"This is a real opportunity for young people who want to bring change to their communities. We want to support them not only with funding, but also by creating greater spaces for participation and civic engagement," Bodo emphasized.
These funds aim to promote the active participation of young people in social, cultural and community life, giving them the opportunity to carry out projects that bring development and improvement of life in the communities where they live.
