Red card for the Parliament, protester in Tirana: MPs should be out of the game

A symbolic moment attracted attention during the protest held this Thursday in Tirana against the project in Zvërnec.
Among the crowd of citizens, a protester appeared holding a red card in his hands, in a gesture intended to express dissatisfaction with the political class.
Comparing Albanian politics to a football match, the citizen said that the red card was a message to all members of Parliament, who according to him no longer represent the interests of citizens.
"This red card is for all MPs. They should get out of Parliament, out of the game," he told the protesters.
The message was received with applause from those present and became one of the most commented moments of the protest, which gathered thousands of citizens on the "Martyrs of the Nation" boulevard.
