Massive civic protest/ From the government's resignation to the cancellation of the law on strategic investors, citizens present 5 non-negotiable demands

On the fifth day of protests in Tirana against the luxury resort project in Zvërnec, one of the protesters presented five demands that they describe as non-negotiable.
He announced that the demands range from the resignation of the government, to the cancellation of changes to the law on protected areas, on Albanian cultural heritage, as well as the repeal of the status and legal framework related to strategic investors and the Mountain Package.
Among other things, he emphasized that the movement is represented by a group of initiators and a coordination group, who, according to them, are determined to see the cause through to the end.
"To clarify for you and the Albanian public opinion, and above all to remove any shadow of doubt or attempt to tarnish this movement with strong patriotic foundations, we declare that the protest was organized and led by free citizens, united around a common national cause for the future of Albania ," he said.
Protester: After five days of non-stop protests in Tirana and seeing the sovereign's determination not to stop until our non-negotiable demands are met, we announce that:
This nationwide movement is represented by a group of initiators and a coordinating group of patriots with integrity and high intellectual and social values. Dignified women and men, young men and women determined to carry this cause to the end and, in accordance with the will of the sovereign, we will come to make the right decisions at the right time.
This initiative was born as a response to the great danger our country is in. According to our convictions, the decisions of the government and this entire 35-year-old political class have violated the national interest and national security of Albania, putting the country's assets and future at the service of their dirty private interests and policies.
To clarify for you and the Albanian public opinion, and above all to remove any shadow of doubt or attempt to tarnish this movement with strong patriotic foundations, we declare that the protest was organized and led by free citizens, united around a common national cause for the future of Albania.
