Formation of the new government, Alibali: It will be a reflection of the lists of MPs, people without political-intellectual biographies

Analyst Neritan Alibali, invited to the News24 studio, commented on the formation of the new government, raising strong criticism of the way executive power is being consolidated.
According to him, a large number of people without political-intellectual backgrounds, but simply followers of the cult of the prime minister, have been noticed in the lists of candidates for deputies of the Socialist Party. "The same thing will be reflected in the government, where there are expected to be only 'Yes Men'," said Alibali.
He warned that the Prime Minister's Office is taking on the form of an institution that more closely resembles the chancellor's model, "an institution more powerful than the prime minister, but weaker than the president in a presidential republic."
Alibali then brought examples of the prime minister's behavior that, according to him, show an excess of competence: "He has ordered the resignation of municipal officials, which is not his competence. He has called on businesses to clear the sidewalks, which is the municipality's duty."
The analyst concluded by describing this phenomenon as "a symptom of the future government's illness."
