Pandeli Nakoleci, who killed his wife in Volos, Greece, was arrested on August 23 (today) by Greek authorities.
He was caught on 'Pagason' Street, near the city center, 200 meters from where the serious crime took place. The Hellenic police say that Nakolec was hiding in a nearby parking lot until he was caught.

Authorities in Greece say the man who stabbed his wife to death has criminal records dating back to 2013.
In 2013, he was arrested for forging documents and illegally entering the Greek state.
In 2018, he was sentenced to one year in prison for making false statements. In 2019, he was arrested twice for drug possession. In 2020, he was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison for drug trafficking and participation in a criminal organization.
In June of this year, by order of the prosecutor's office, Nakoleci was sent for treatment to the psychiatric ward of Volos Hospital, after he had attempted suicide. After an assessment by doctors, it was determined that he needed mandatory treatment and for this reason he remained hospitalized for a period of time.
