Vlorë's own goal gives Elbasan victory over Flamurtari

AF Elbasani started the new season in the Superior Category in the best possible way, defeating Flamurtari 1-0 at their home stadium, in the return of the Rossoneri to the elite after a five-year absence. The match was decided by a special episode in the 34th minute, when Jose Rodriguez, in a strange disagreement with his goalkeeper, scored a ridiculous own goal that gave the home team the advantage.

After the goal, Flamurtari had the opportunity to react quickly, but in the 42nd minute Ben Shimon was stopped by goalkeeper Aleksovski in a clean one-on-one duel, wasting the Rossoneri's golden opportunity.
