Strong winds and intense rainfall, Kukës Region affected by bad weather

The Kukes region was hit by bad weather during the early hours of this morning, with strong winds and intense rainfall.

For more than 3 hours, rain has helped extinguish several active fires in Kalimash and the Fushë-Arrëz area.

According to the emergency headquarters, due to the rainfall, several rock slides have been reported on several road segments, mainly in rural areas in Shishtavec, Bushtricë and the Valbona Valley.

Vehicle circulation has not been interrupted and contracting firms have intervened to clean the roads.
