Court jails 61-year-old man for converting apartment into drug lab in Tirana

The Tirana Court has remanded in prison 61-year-old Shkëlqim Krashi, in whose apartment a quantity of narcotics worth around 500 thousand euros was found.

In the closed-door session, Krashi stated that the amount of drugs had remained in a car he had owned for several years, while he had the shotgun with a permit.

However, Krashi, who lived in Yzberisht, will continue to be held in isolation. During the operation codenamed “Shape”, 17 kg of cannabis in chocolate form, 22.5 liters of cannabis oil, 65 grams of cocaine, a pistol and a shotgun were seized.
