Velipoja Police rescue three tourists in danger of drowning

The services of the Velipojë Police Station, together with the Border Police, went today to assist three citizens who were in danger of drowning at sea in Velipojë.

Police services responded quickly and professionally, enabling the location and safe return to shore of three citizens who were at risk of drowning, as they were swimming in the deep water.

The three tourists were swimming in the deep water and were unable to reach the shore due to strong waves.

The services of the Velipojë Police Station were immediately engaged, in cooperation with the Border Police, which, with the "Skaf" boat, located the citizens who were at risk of drowning and enabled their safe return to shore.

Their health condition is good.

The Border Police, in cooperation with the Local Police Directorate, ensures that it continues to remain fully alert, 24/7, at the service of citizens and tourists.
