Brutal attack during a concert in California, woman beaten until unconscious

A shocking video that has gone viral shows a man brutally beating a woman until she lost consciousness during a concert in California on Sunday night.

The incident took place at a concert by the band Rüfüs Du Sol at the famous Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena. The video shows the man attacking a helpless woman and her friends. Shelby Elston, a mother of three from Phoenix, Arizona, said in a Facebook post that she lost consciousness and woke up in the stadium's emergency room.

According to her, it all started when her fiancé accidentally spilled his drink on another spectator. The latter left angrily, but returned about half an hour later, screaming.

Elston said she tried to separate the men, but the attacker reacted violently, pushing her and then throwing her into the stands, where he continued to punch her even after she lost consciousness. He also punched her fiancé and another person in their group.

" This man punched me in the face! I was completely unconscious and my face was covered in blood ," Elston wrote. She spent the rest of the concert in the stadium's medical center, but then managed to return safely to her hotel.

A spokesman for the Pasadena Police Department confirmed that a report has been filed into the incident, but no arrests have been made so far, as the attacker ran away and disappeared into the crowd.

" We are aware of the videos. We will aggressively pursue any leads. The image of the suspect is quite clear, so I am very confident that we will identify him, " said Lisa Derderian, public relations officer for the city of Pasadena.

The band Rüfüs Du Sol released a statement regarding the event: " We live to offer our fans moments where they can gather and celebrate safely. We are shocked by the act of violence that occurred during the opening of the concert on Saturday, " the statement reported by Rolling Stone reads.
