A tragedy has occurred in New Hampshire, USA, where a woman shot and killed her husband and their two children before taking her own life.
Emily Long, 34, was found dead along with her husband Ryan Long, 48, and two of their children, Parker, 8, and Ryan, 6, in their New Hampshire home on Monday evening.
Their third child, 3 years old, was found alive and is in the care of family members while the investigation continues.
Both children were shot in the head, while 48-year-old Ryan, who was battling brain cancer, suffered multiple gunshot wounds, according to autopsy results.
Emily documented her husband's battle with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer, in a series of TikTok videos, in which she confessed that her mental health was in a deplorable state and that she was deeply depressed.
In her final video, just two days before the murder, Emily explained that she and her children were " struggling with her husband's diagnosis ," but that she was determined to "improve her mental health."
"All I want to do is hide under a blanket with my kids, but that's not healthy for them and it's not healthy for me. Today I decided that I need to make a conscious effort to change my way of thinking. I will get out of this depression, whether I want to or not. I am determined to create some normalcy ," she says in the video.
