"Gaza will be occupied, the plan is ready"/ Israeli Defense Minister gives 'OK', 60 thousand reservists are called up!

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz gave the green light to the army's plans for the occupation of Gaza City, which were presented to IDF Chief of Staff General Eyal Zamir yesterday evening.
The offensive has been dubbed "Gideon's Tanks B" in the wake of a previous operation of the same name, during which Israeli defense forces swept through 75% of the Gaza Strip in an attempt to force Hamas to accept the release of hostages.
Approximately 60,000 Israeli reservists will be called up starting today for the new offensive in Gaza City, subject to approval by Minister Katz, writes the Israel Times.
Soldiers will receive their orders from the IDF at least two weeks before reporting for duty.
However, not all will be asked to participate in the operation to capture Gaza City: some will replace permanent army troops on other fronts.
On the other hand, Hamas claims that nearly 19,000 children have been killed in the enclave since the start of the conflict on October 7, 2023, which was sparked precisely by the militant group's brutal attack on the land of the Jewish state.
According to Al Jazeera, the total number of Palestinian deaths is estimated at over 62,000. Israel has not given up on targeting Hamas leaders either.
Muhammad Naif Abu Shamala, the commander of a Hamas Nukhba special forces unit, was killed in the Gaza Strip last week, the Israeli military announced today.
The unit led by Shamala had participated in the October 7 attack, attempting to strike a border post near the town of Kissufim.
