"Moscow does not seek peace"/ Zelenskyy accuses Russia: Kremlin is doing everything to avoid meeting with Putin

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that the Kremlin is doing everything to avoid a direct meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In his evening address to the citizens and in posts on social networks, Zelenskyy stated that Russia's recent massive overnight attacks on several regions of Ukraine were a clear message about the lack of will for peace.
The Ukrainian president stressed that Moscow's recent moves show not a will for peace, but a further escalation of the conflict and an attempt to impose a solution on Ukraine on Russian terms.
"Currently, the signals that Russia is sending are very simple and, to be honest, inappropriate.
"They are trying to avoid the need to organize a meeting," Zelenskyy said.
These statements come at a time when US President Donald Trump has publicly expressed his desire to mediate a summit between the two leaders, but no concrete date or format has yet been set, while the conditions raised by Russia have been deemed unacceptable by Kiev.
