After JD Vance, Trump will join law enforcement on the streets of Washington tonight

President Donald Trump said in an interview that he intends to join law enforcement on the streets of Washington, D.C., on Thursday evening.
"I think I'm going to go out tonight, with the police and certainly with the military," the president told radio host Todd Starnes on Thursday.
A senior White House official said the details of the evening were still being worked out.
This is the latest development since the president ordered the federal government to take control of the city's police department earlier this month.
This comes after another organized event focused on taking control of Washington on Wednesday, when Vice President JD Vance visited a Shake Shack in Union Station at lunchtime to thank National Guard members who are deployed to the city.
